The reading ramp for Soft Skull Press stands out among the Book Expo booths at the Jacob Javitts Convention Center.
Utilizing an urban configuration, a book tower is placed along the aisle to provide room for sitting behind. The walls of the tower consist of two clear plastic layers, pop riveted together, sandwiching archive books in place. Books for reading are placed along the accessible shelf at the back.
The booth was designed and fabricated in modules for transport ease and can be assembled without power tools.
