Reconfiguring Space Installation, Art in General, New York NY
![]()
A pathway of shelving meanders within the existing space providing both storage and privacy, to form the gallery volumes.
The galleries are bright, scale-less white boxes with art on the floor, walls and hanging from the ceiling. The office space is positioned adjacent to exterior windows to receive natural light. Work areas are active, always in use to support the gallery, both figuratively and literally.

Views into the busy work areas are seen when passing between gallery spaces. A shelving grid supporting clean high gallery walls delineates the division between the office and the gallery. The plan is organized with a simple and clear separation of gallery volumes and work areas.
