Miami Basel Exhibition, Miami FL

This project served as the armature for an art display at the Miami Basel Art Show 2004 for Henry Urbach Architecture.

The public passage is defined by both a partial wall for dual sided video projection and a black fabric ceiling that creates a sense of illusionary depth. This negation of bright light mediates the public from the central exhibition space.

Along one edge, an illuminated vitrine holds smaller works and provides ambient light.

A video screen set into the facing wall further animates the passage with dynamic patterns of colored light.
