This installation for The Architectural League of New York was inspired by the city and building’s structure which give measure and scale to space. Navigable paths are determined by the perspectival alignment of points defining lines or edges.

Made with corn-based fabric, quilted pockets contain soil to grow vegetation.
As an opportunity to explore the play of the natural within the artificial, we constructed a three-dimensional steel matrix inset with panels of living mosses and enclosed within by translucent volume.

A listening space is constructed from stacked cardboard bales. Inside the space, embedded speakers play live processed audio from two shortwave radios.
