New York NY
FBMM is a business and financial management firm with clients in the music industry. For their NY office, they asked us to help them grow and move into a larger and more light-filled Midtown office. The former garment loft provided a well-worn oak floor with a patina of history that played nicely with the new desks and glass partitions. To best serve our clients, we mixed-and-matched items from a custom millworker, generic cabinet shop, and IKEA to produce a very precise, integrated office-desk system. This streamlining allowed us to use the budget most effectively, giving upper management custom desks and white-stained birch and gray laminate partitions in the open office area.
This project, like many of our office build-out projects, required us to work with building management, an MEP Engineer to spec and size the air conditioning, a data consultant to wire the space, and a general contractor. The process included providing: 17 desks, eight private offices, a conference room, a kitchenette, and a data room.
